Rattle @ 2k RPM
Rattle @ 2k RPM
Alright guys and gals... here's a question that may have been asked previously but I couldn't find a thread about it. So around 2000 RPMs I can hear a slight yet annoying rattle to my left, but I can't pinpoint where it's coming from. Sometimes I think it's coming from inside the door, othere times maybe down in the footwell. Anyone else have this problem? Or am I just going crazy. Dealer said they looked for it but couldn't find it. Any suggestions? Thanks!
mine had a similar rattle right after I bought it. I found a relay near the steering column that was loose. No idea why. I tied it to a wire bundle and I haven't heard it since. Look under the dash around the column. The relay looks like a little black box with a metal brackett stuck on it. Good luck.
I'm getting a buzzing/rattle from what seems like my passenger side front door at lower rpm's. It's driving me crazy! Anyone ever have a problem with buzzing/rattle from their doors? I've only had my Proto since September and this is one of the few things that I'm not happy with. Help!
What's even worse is I'm taking a trip up past Buffalo tonight so I'll be in the car for about two hours and I just know it'll buzz and rattle! I'll just have to turn the stereo up and not think about it, but it's hard not too.
I had a sort of metallic rattling sound coming from the footwell in the Drivers side, it turned out to be where the heat register is. There is a Plastic Trim piece that covers it, and if you tap it you can replicate the rattle. I removed it (its one of those little plastic plugs that slide out) easily and it stopped. Now I am trying to figure out the rattle from either the rear driver side door, or the pillar near my seat belt.
Does anyone get a buzzing or low rattling from A/C or fan particularly on a cold start? Dealer says F-off voided warranty and will not look at it they say I am crazy cannot dupilcate sound. happened after 3rd tranny install!
