I prefer the Toyo T1-S...but then again, I've spent many a track day driving in the rain

I never got 'comfortable' with the Azenis (on the Miata)...

Yes good point , where you live makes a big differance in tire choice. I'm running shaved Hoosiers because normally it doesn't rain much in Vegas. Saturday my first session was wet and oh boy even the little 85 HP wonder was dicey with those tires.

Yep...someday I'll try some 'race' tires...but that's not a big deal to me at the moment.

'Good' to me means NOT the OEM Dunflops, something a bit more grippy ya know? I'm sure Beachbum doesn't need Hoosiers either, considering he's never been to the track before...
