Question about Bumpers

So okay quick question,
I have a 2002 Protege LX and I need a new front bumper, I love the way the Protege 5 bumper looks, and was wondering if it was possible for the protege 5 bumper to be put on to a Protege LX. anyone know if it works?
Thanks!

I don't think it is a direct fit - may need some modification to fit. Looking at around $1000 for the part plus mod plus paint if a shop does it.

Where are you located? There's a place in Atlanta that has Bumpers Painted for $200 last time I was looking. As far as the difference. I thought they looked the same.

No the headlight assembly and grille is diferent. You'd really need the whole front clip to
do it right.

do a search...there's a parts list for everything needed...depending on where you get the parts, it can be done WAY cheaper than $1000

If you do alot of the work yourself, then for sure you can do it cheaper than 1k.
I just know the front end for the P5/MSP requires modification the the original sedan front end.

Can't just snap it on. As well, you will need to pick up some different fogs and low grille.

May be easier to just get a new sedan front end from a junkyard. Even more so if you dont have your own garage to do any work in.

Very cool stuff indeed. Site needs some zoomed pics, but thats a nice selection. Maybe time to look into a new front end since I cracked mine a little while back.

well just let me know what you like and i'll give you pricing..to give you an idea of what i can do the whole tsc3 kit which is the kit i like retails for around $500usd+ im offering to guys on this forums and the toprotege forums the price of $350usd + shipping..the only downfall is that since you live in canada the price of shipping is like $250usd for a full kit and like $190usd-$200usd for just a bumper...if you happen to have a us postal address to ship to i think shipping is only $150.
