question.

i was at the track friday night. and on both my launches my tires hopped real bad.

i now notice fluid as shown in these pics.

what could it be? looked everywhere to see where it came from and cant find anything

thats powersteering fluid. Is real common. nothing to worry about. For some reason fluid either condenses or drips at that spot. I've had 2 3rd gen proteges and both of them did that. In fact I'm going to clean my engine bay now and I noticed it again on mine.

New AWR motor mounts would cure the wheel hop!

Yeah, wipe down and inspect with engine running (be careful of the moving bits, eh?).
