I'am in the process of buying a AutoExec Front Lip, that goes under the factory front bumper! My question is if anyone has done this to thier MP5? And if so what did you go with, Fiberglass or ABS plastic?
Which would be better?

If it is from onderground I would look out. Not the best quality lip around, and since your car is a light color the gap between the lip and your bumper is going to stand out quite a bit.

 

The lip is made of 8oz. hand laid fiberglass, guaranteed to be the best on the market and guaranteed for both fittment and quality.

They also guarantee the lowest price on all of thier aerodynamics so you are always getting the best price guaranteed.

The lip comes primed but not painted. It will need a coat of paint to match your vehicle.

 

The prices look to good to be true, I would still be hesitant to order from that site but I could be wrong. If you order from the site and everything comes out ok share w/ us.

I will take a pic when painted and installed! I would like to wait till spring to install it first! Freak snow storms here! I don't want to do the city a favour by plowing the streets with my new front Lip! But keep you posted!

 

Whose have to be a replica grill and lip. I bought those but from a different person. The quality is good but you need to sand and get it properly fitted.

 

The website you listed is replica, most likely would be fiberglass quality. The real autoexe lip are made out of urethane which are much stronger than fiberglass. The price? the real autoexe lip are much more expensive, ranging around US$400+. I had a fiberglass lip and they cracked very easily...I personally think i'ts not worth of the money.

It's 12AM, and I just checked my messages on my phone! The courier phoned to say my Lip is ready for delivery! Unfortunately I'm going on holidays Tuesday morning! I can't wait! So I will be going down directly to pick up the Lip when they open at 6AM! Keep you posted when I get back from holidays, which will be Friday evening!

 

So is it true that AutoExe doesn't have a front lip spoiler for the 99-00 Protege sedans? Could you get the spoiler to fit on an aftermarket front bumper that is made to fit like stock?
