They also retain much more self-tuning capability (narrow-band O2s just don't cut it). You can program to use them as draw-through or blow-through with a turbo/SC combo.
sort of on topic, but question:

the mazda 6i has a product out from CPE called the MAF customizer....supposed to be able to tune the signal from the MAF to allow larger diameter pipes and such. to eliminate the "choke" on the system.

The 6i has the 2.3L engine which uses the same MAF as my 1.6L.....shouldnt this work for my car too ????

I'm thinking about it...8whp gain from adding the customizer to an INJEN CAI...$339 would be a lot of money to waste on a maybe

OFF TOPIC:

btw Matty..I'm going to be bugging the CRAP! out of you in the next couple of months..I'm like 95% sure I want to go s/c on the lil 1.6er...looking for a very similar setup to your original WOMPer I saw in february.....I just need another car to transport the lil one in that has a/c...will be buying a fusion once the pro is paid off....

Exclamation

Still considering this: http://www.mafterburner.com/mafterburner_page2.htm

But a total chip/programmer solution would be better if Roddy's guy comes through...
