Protege 5 wins again!

Just got my June issue of Car and Driver....

They compared 6 "mini wagons" and here's the ranking:
1. Mazda Protege 5 (what else? )
2. Chrysler PT Cruiser (yukk.... and why the hell it's here?)
3. Toyota Matrix XRS (hahaha, nice try Toyota)
4. Ford Focus ZX5
5. Pontiac Vibe
6. Suzuki Aerio SX

I'll have to admit, if I had to rank them, that'd be what I'd choose as well. Sure the PT Cruiser is aweful, but I'd actually rather have that than anything else on the list.

#1 Mazda
#2 Matrix
#3 vibe
#4 Focus
#5-6 Aerio, Crusier

Aerio has got to be the ugliest of the bunch, and no way in hell I am driving suzski. Pt crusier is a death trap. The only thing I don't like about the Matrix is the back , it drops to quick. Mazda is by far the supior.

Car and Driver, the best selling and most reputable car magazine sold in North America (Ok, so I think) ranks Protege5 first. Other less reputable magazines, rank them differently often putting Matrix first. I think Car and Driver is the one to trust, no just because they ranked the 5 first, but because they are most reputable IMO. They have been around for almost 75 years. How long has Popular Science reviewed cars?

subscribers usually get next month's issue very early. I've had my May issue since early April.

I wonder when, or if, my June issue will be here... (my subscription started around this time last year and i'm not renewing )

In this issue, besides that comparison that I mentioned, there's also a Mazda 6 preview, a Mazda MPV ES review. And also Tirerack's "car of the month" is... guess what, yes, a red Mazda Protege 5 with Moda 17" and ASA 18" wheels!

Talk about Mazda packed!

BTW, I'm no way affilated with C and D (wish I was... )
