hello I'm new
Just had my battery die and bought new one, after installing next day the engine started to shake really bad something was wrong? Later that day engine light turn on. Local mechanic gave me code p0506. Reset engine light one week later not getting any signs of engine shaking? Could it be small glitch due to installing new battery? Thanks for any replys

Was the shaking at idle? The code is from when idle speed dropped too low. The idle air controller (IAC) could be the culprit. A simple clean may be a fix.

thats what I was thinking have the mazda dealer clean the body throttle. till this day I have not had the same issue but still will make dealer appointment. thanks for the reply

I wouldn't waste a trip to the dealer, they'll just wonder why you want it done. They'll troubleshoot it for you and replace parts. Charging you accordingly.
One of the perks of owning an older car is getting to know it. More than just the throttle body would need cleaned. The Idle Air Controller can be disassembled and cleaned, but may need replaced.
If you want a shop to do it, you can ask for an intake system cleaning such as BG Findashop - Search for an authorized BG service center near you! if you go to that homepage, you can find a shop that does that service.
