Production location?
Hello all!
I'm picking up my new P5 tomorrow in Lincoln, Nebraska and am excited to now be a part of what appears to be a very helpful web forum for it! I have been lurking for a few weeks now while I waited to be able to locate the car I wanted, so I've done some reading and tried to educate myself a little.
My question is this: where is the Pro 5 built? I have looked for that information, but I haven't been able to figure that one out!
Thanks!

my window sticker indicated Hiroshima was the city, but some people here can tell you the plant and probably the name of the people who assembled it.

Indeed, P5's are built in Hofu, while the sedans are built in Hiroshima.

I know the statement was ment as a joke....and seeing as how I work in the nuclear power industry and have for nearly 25 years....I joke about this too. :{D
HOWEVER, I have been to Hiroshima, its quite amazing.....to look at the pictures from WWII and to see it now. There is a museum at ground Zero or at least very near it...you aren't even allowed to take pictures in there.....ever see stuff in movies where it looks like people were burned into walls, where it just leaves their outline? .... it happens...or could...actually DID...there was a section of a wall in there that was EXACTLY like that. I visited Nagasaki (spelling) too....
the PEOPLE are more effected than anything else....after nearly 50 years there is still a startling high birth defect rate from the genetic changes that SURVIVORS went through...and passed along to the following generations.
