PowerSlot front rotors for 3rd gen Proteges

I've contacted Autospecialty about producing front rotors for the 3rd gen Proteges with 4x100mm hubs. These would be the larger 10.2" rotors from the '99-'00 ES and '02 DX & LX. If you have a '99-'01 DX or LX, you can upgrade to these rotors from your stock 9.2" rotors if you also get calipers and brackets from a 10.2" equipped Protege. Autospecialty (PowerStop) can produce either cross drilled or slotted & crossdrilled rotors for us. These rotors come cadmium plated so they have a gold tint to them and won't rust anywhere except the rotor surface that contacts the brake pads. This area is cleaned by the pads when you use the brakes so shouldn't be a problem. Since this is a new part for them, the need a minumum order and take 2 to 3 weeks to produce the rotors. I'm guessing the price range should be about $90ea depending on how many people are interested. Let me know if you are seriously interested, and if there is enough interest I'll pursue this further.

Count me in!

I'm in. I can not get a $ quote or availability info out of anybody for KVRs. I've even called a few machine shops to see about getting the OEMs drilled, but no luck. By the way thanks for the info on the Stainless Steel Brake Lines.

That's a good question, I was wondering about that myself. I'll double check on the calipers. However, I would assume if the pads are the same, so are the calipers, if they are different, I would think the calipers would be also. Of course this only applies to those DX and LX owners upgrading from the stock 9.2" to these 10.2" rotors.

Is that it? I'm looking for interest from at least 5 people before I try to get these made and find an exact price. Only two so far?

Upgrade from LX 9.2 to ES 10.2

I upgraded my 9.2 calipers/rotors on my 99 LX to the 10.2 99 ES calpiers and rotors and the calipers and rotors a definitely different form one another.
