Painting Door Stopper

hi

I drive a 2001 LX and the door stoppers are not painted... so i got a couple questions for you

-first if i remove those... what's underneath are they just glued or snapped(if you have a pics of what it looks like ... post it)Or can i just pick up some that are already painted from a junk yard?

-do i have to remove them for paint or just leave it on?

-And what about the handles... what would be the best thing to do:

-paint them... or just go to a junk yard and pick up some silver one... if its from the junk yard can i exchange the key holes from one handle to another

and one last thing are the handles and door stopper the same on the protege and the protege5

thanks hope you guys know the answer!!!

Alex

Yes the door handles are the same on all the proteges. If you can find a silver 3rd gen in a junkyard, more power to you, but they're pretty rare from what I've seen. It would not cost much, maybe a few hundred at most, to get the door handles painted.
