P5 wind noise

I know that this is an issue that's been brought up before, but I haven't seen anything that specific to my case, so here's a post....

Does anyone have a problem with a general whistling noise on their P5 at around 65mph+? (*I don't have a moonroof*)

It's not a localized sound, so I've had trouble trying to figure out where it's coming from. I have a feeling it's the roof rack, but I was hoping someone might know something before I went ahead and started messing with it. (I like it how it is 'cause it's a perfect fit for my bikes and skis, and I'm hoping that I won't have to adjust or do away with it). I do know it's not the windshield wipers, the windows, or the mirrors. Could it be the antenna?

Curious to know if anyone's experiencing the same problem, or if there is an obvious fix I haven't heard about....

Ken.

wind noise

just purchased a p5 and noticed a hum sound. I DO have a moonroof. I bought the car with 6700 miles on it so it is not brand new. I'm kinda concerned because the noise is loud. Also let me know if you want to loose the racks. I need some.

roof rack

Try Barrecrafters. I had to mess around a little with the mounts of mine to get them to fit on the crossbars, but they work fine. A solid bike rack'll cost you around $200. Ski/snowboard mounts are considerably less (anything from $80 and up...). Oh yeah, supposedly Yakima makes something that fits P5's, but I also heard from the same source that they're separate towers that fit into the door frame, and not onto the rack, but I could be wrong....
And sorry, I'm keeping my rack, wind noise be damned. Good luck.
