Unhappy P5 Ticking Noise...

Ever since I installed my injen air intake system, which looks awesome and installed perfectly... I now hear a ticking noise when my car is stoped or idling. It's really pissing me off, I need some help to figure out where this ticking noise is coming from. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about.

i have the same problem. it is your purge control valve you had to re-locate. i am not sure but when you are idling it has to purge (get rid of) the excess air from going into the throttle to not make it run lean. its just shooting the air away.

anyone know how to fix?

The Purge soloniod needs to be upright, facing forward. At least that's what my instructions that came with my old eBay intake said.

Found a pic. *56K NO!*

You can attach the Purge soloniod to the intake using a couple of zip-ties. Check it:

There's the pic I was looking for!

Yes, but once I installed the PS correctly, it went away.
