I was reading another thread and a couple of people there were Miata/P5 owners. I am one as well. So curiousity has gotten the better of me...

how many Protege 5 owners are also Miata owners?

not quite a Miata, but i used to own 91 Capri Xr2,Currently own an 88 Mx-6 GT, and my '00 Protege. will be trading the '00 for a Mazda 3 in December, and also looking at acquiring a 2nd Gen Rx-7 and 1st gen Miata...I'm a Mazda man thru and thru!!!

White 1999 Miata (for sale - love it, but have to sell it)
Laser Blue 2003 Protege5

Former owner:
Dark Blue 1984 Mazda 626 LX Coupe
Black 1988 Mazda MX-6
Maroon 1989 Mazda 626 LX Sedan

Yup, my '92 Miata was traded for my '03.5 P5. Damn, I really miss that car!

 

i've also noticed that a couple of protege owners also own RX-7s

mainly FCs (2nd gens)

 

we do....P5, heavily modified miata, and 2 motorcycles.....and a camry

 

The wife has the 2001 Miata (midnight blue w/ sport suspension pkg), i drive the 03 P5 (laser blue mica, so far no mods..

To drive a miata don't you have to be under six feet tall? Like the car, just don't fit. Fit fine in my wifes p5 though. Fun to drive!

 

I don't own a Miata or an RX-7... YET. I've gotten the worst itch recently to get one on the cheap (1st or 2nd gen. RX-7 or 1st gen Miata) and do a little magic restoring With the past few days actually being sunny and warm here, I would be thrilled to get behind the wheel of a convertible. I am 6'2" though, so I don't know if that will cause me issues... and my bank account tells me i need to start eating more Taco Bell or Ramen...
