P5 Altezza tail light advice

Hello, I've seen the altezzas available for P5s, but I have not seen them on a car (in photo or real life). I've only seen the close ups they show on eBay that don't show them in context. Does anyone have a picture of them on a car (preferably laser blue)?

Also... I'm thinking of taking it one step further. I want to bake the lights to remove the cover, paint the inside of them laser blue to match my car (except, of course, the reflectors for the bulbs), and reattach the cover. If anyone out there has baked lights (I know some people paint thier headlights black), can you tell me just how to bake them? Thanks much.

Look through the photo gallery I have seen the chrome and carbon fiber in there. I have a Sunlight silver MP5 and I want the gunmetal lights really bad.

IMO, instead of getting the altezzas, get the j-spec tail lights since they IMO look a lot less ricey.

I hate Altezzas. They are UGLY. I have never seen a single set that looked even halfway decent, especially with the other options on our car (JDM, and lets not forget the stock ones, which look pretty badass themselves)

Well, I have chrome Altezzas now. After my left tail light got smashed a few weeks ago, I decided to go with this, as it is cheaper than a real tail light, and a little more unique. I really don't care too much for chrome tail lights, I wanted black, if anything, but couldn't find any. I still may try open it up and paint the unlit parts laser blue, but that won't be anytime too soon. I actually think it looks a lot better than I expected. Thanks, Rio Grande, for having that picture by your name. It looked good enough for me to order them.

You know what's kinda goofy? I really like the stock tail lights, except for two small things that really bother me. I don't like how the reflector goes all the way down the side, partially outlining the turn signal/reverse light; and I don't like how the turn signal, when not lit, is just a little orangy. I wish it was pure amber or pure clear, not something in between. I've got more beefs with the Altezzas, but so be it, they are on my car now, looking better than I expected. It's kinda cool, head on, the turn signal looks completely amber (when not lit), but off to the side, it looks completely chrome.

Your welcome. My car is silver just like the picture. I think the black lights look good with the silver. I just wish I could get them but I'm stuck sinking money into the Jeep for emissions.
