Is this ok to do?

I usally do my own oil changes, and I use (1) of these ramps to slant my car in the front to access the oil pan/filter. I havent changed my oil in my P5 yet, and wanted to know if this method would be ok to use. The owners manual states that your car should be in a level position, but that would mean I have to jack my car up on all fours.

Will rolling my car on one ramp on one of the front wheels let all the oil out of the engine?

Here is what my ramps look like... I usally only use (1)

I know thats what the manual says, but I actually got more oil out of my old car by having it on the ramp. It was sort of like having a 2.5 gallon water jug, and when its almost empty, if you lean the jug at an angle, more water comes out.

Well, that was how my old car was. I was just wondering if this is the case with the P5. Id rather find out before I experiment. Thanks

I just found this link that better describes the way I change my oil. I guess other people do it this way also. Is there a better way to change oil on a P5? Call me lazy, but I havent even looked under the engine to see where the oil plug is. By doing my oil this way, will all (most) of the oil come out?

Here is a tool I read about on a NSX board, pretty cool, anyone use one of these before? 60 bucks for one of these doesnt sound bad, considering the mess you will save. http://www.griotsgarage.com/search.j...=20&search.y=8
