i've been investigating a little "secret" about the BJ series...

Mazda Switzerland has equipped/sold a few units of the 323F 2.0 (p5) with Superchargers, today I got the confirmation about that "rumour" from Mazda CH.
The model was called 323F GT and delivers 180PS at the engine.. I'll try to get some details about that baby....

these aren't OEM modifications. They are installed at the dealership that sells them.

that's a question of definition...

mazda switzerland itself admitted that "they" (not the dealers) equipped the model with the charger (it seems only 40 pieces of them were made! are rare piece of zoom zoom)...

same with my car... i got a full leather interior.. which wasn't installed in the japanese factory but by mazda germany (for a series of 500 cars), so i think you can call it "OEM" ... "on emission by the manufacturer"...

huh...I've never heard of that happening with any manufacturer. Even in large markets like USA, Asia that doesn't happen but Switzerland sells all of 10 cars a year and they get custom FI??
Seems odd.

I know there's a dealership here in the states that claims to sell supercharged RX8's NEW. what they did was take a new RX8 and put some shotty blower on it and as long as you take it back to that dealer for work they'll keep the warranty on it. Stuff like that happens all the time.

I still want pictures! Then I can know for sure if it's an OEM part or aftermarket.

yeah, info rules.... I just can't believe mazda switzerland would have the know-how and desire to design, tune, build, and produce their own FI system for an econo-car. Sounds like a motivated dealership to me.

hm got some new,different info from that huge swiss mazda dealer

they said that this company was responsible for the supercharger installations
