cool, the mp3 ecu is about the only reasonable ecu upgrade....I even hear rumor that someone we know may be able to flash stock protege ecu's to the mp3 maps for a small fee!!

 

who can do that? isnt it model and year specific?

from what i have seen and heard ecu is the same

my 01 LX2.0 with 120k miles on the clock ran 100.13 - 100.21 - 100.42 whp
at 5000ft above sea level (....asthma ....) dynojet research

compaired to mp3 with 7000 miles 103 whp (same shop, same dyno, same tech)
both had the same closed-loop/open-loop switch @ about 3600rpm

same exact lean-to-rich air/fuel ratios too

who's tried S-AFC or similar
