OBX Header and AWR Motor Mounts Installed....

Well FINALLY, after having both parts forever, I actually got around to installing them!

The headers; Parted with the stock MP3/Racing Beat exhaust it sounds pretty good! Not raspy or "Farty" at all, just deeper than stock. Seems like it added a little something up top too. Also, throttle responce was GREATLY improved! Install was cake.

Motor Mounts; Free back masages for everybody! Damn....I just finished these off today. Install wasnt to hard, just tedious and annoying as hell! My knuckles are busted up from working in that tight space! Anyway, shifting is A LOT better! Very smooth, just like everyone says, since the engine doesnt move when you give/let off the gas. Vibrations are annoying, but do pretty much dissapear above 2K RPM's. I'll just have to get used to them....

Just figured I'd share my excitment since I'm finally doing some installs...I'm thinking of doing the oil pan next, within the next week or two...Think I'll need a new gasket for that? If I do, I'll go pick one up/order one tomorrow. Anybody do that install yet, easy, difficult?

Anyway, thats all, just happy I got them in and done with no problems...

Pix!

Are you talking about the AWR oil pan? I remember seeing some thread about someone's header not clearing the oil pan because of the added depth. You might wanna search for it.
I don't think it was here, though, but on msprotege.
Also, it may have only been the AWR header. I can't remember for sure but you should def check it out before you buy.

That would be stupid for AWR to make two products that don't work with eachother....Hmm.

I think if their were a clearence issue you'd hear more about it, so hopefully it'll work out. And I already have the pan back fron the GB.

As for the pics, I wanna finish up another little side project first, then I'll take pics. The other little thing should look good once I'm finished, but I want it to look good before I put it back on, I dont like sloppy things on cars.....Hint: I'm painting something.....
