'nother new guy here

Hey folks, just got my Protege on thursday after my VR6 Jetta got totalled (not my fault).
Im lovin it, it came equipped with the Racing Beat sway bars, Mazda Speed strut bar, Racing Beat Springs and Mazda speed dampers..so far so good, also came with the polished out Mazda Speed muffler..sounds nice but WAY to flashy...
The car needs new tires something fierce, I delt with RE92's on my 2.5 RS and hated them...although they last forever...

Just wanted to say hi and feel relieved that there is an owners forum out there...

What IM looking for.

P5 front bumper...
ES rear brake assemblies..
30 more HP....

Hey what made you decide to get a Protege when you have a VR6 Jetta? I'm thinking about doing the same thing. The VW has to many little problems to deal with.

I've got a brand new P5 front bumper. I'm looking for an o3.5 MSP bumper. What color is your car? mine is laser blue. PM if interested.

Thanks guys..

The VR got totalled by a hoosier in a Chevy 1 ton.....I've wanted that car since I was 16....oh well..

The Pro' is a lot of fun, very tossable and will be a great autocross car come spring time...

Im lookin for either a P5 or a MSP front bumper....my car is black mica.

Why don't you just get a body kit. It would probably be easier to get, and you get 4 pieces. A P5 front wouldn't look right without its sideskirts.

thanks gang, I do miss 200 wheel hp and tq, but the "pro is SO tossable in the corners. I cant wait to get it out on the auto-x cicuit and road course!

I will probably leave the body work stock, I have found the right "look" im after regarding the front end...
