No Tunes for me

No Tunes for me
Well two nights ago I was listening to Linkin Park on my CD player. I pulled to 7-eleven at around 3am. To get the new Sport Compact Car and a Starbucks. So I got back into my car, turned it on and my CD popped out. I didn't think anything of it and I pushed it back in. Then it popped out again. I'm likeI tried it again and it didn't work. So I was like maybe the CD is messed up. Last night I was on my way to a good trip to Baltimore, so of course I was need some tunes. I wiped of my Link.Park CD put it in and the same thing happened. So I put in my Ludacris CD and the same thing happened 3 times again. Now I'm scared. I put in the CD lense cleaner and that popped out also. Its not taking anything.
I'm going to the dealership on Monday and I was just wondering has this happened to anyone else. This is my first big problem with the car. I only listen to CDs also b/c the radio never has anything on.

well I've never had that problem before
but i did have one problem with the stock cd player
it kept throwing an error on the screen...something like "ERR ##"
this happened a year ago so i can't rememebr what it was exactly.
when we took it to the dealer we cleared out all cds and stuff that was in the car...but i forgot one of my cd-rs in the cd drive....
oh yeah the error kept coming and ejecting the cd...even real cds, not just cdrs
the dealer said it was because i played cdrs in the player
I think they said that just cuz i left a cdr in the player...
because it played cdrs flawlessly for 2 - 3 yrs then suddenly screwed up
but we got it changed....my parents didn't ask me or i woulda got another HeadUnit...but they got the stock one put back in.
its played nicely for a year but lately the motor to bring the cd in is screwed up....whenever i put a cd in front of it it doesn't pull it in...unless i press the eject button then right after its done the ejection process (even with out a cd in it) then it will only pull the cd in.
sorry for the long pist...but just telling you guys about the problems with the HU that i get

Move to El Salvador... We don´t have those problems with engine cold starts or CDs popping out due to the cold.
It´s 72 degrees Farenheit right now. The low last night was 54.

If anyone is interested, I have my STOCK AM/FM/CD double din FOR SALE. I put in a Kenwood and it is in there so good that there is no way in hell I want to go through the pain of putting the stock one back in (if I sell/trade) in the car. Plus I got the Kenwood at an good price from a buddy that it wouldn't even be worth it.
Make me an offer - looking for springs to drop the car an inch or so.

Redrims - I think the problem is that your CD player is rejecting your music selections!
Try putting in the new Butch Walker CD, should work fine then!

Join the crowd. Mine played fine for years until I started playing CD-Rs. Now, I can only listen to regulars CDs but only after fighting the HU. Sometimes it'll take a CD only after a couple of tries. Other times, I have to fight it during my entire commute (45 minutes there... almost 2 hours home) to get it to play. It seems to like some CDs better than others. The Scorpion King soundtrack almost always plays (unless it is cold out... which is anything under 70 here in San Diego). I dread cold weather... CD player won't work, suspension creaks and moans, interior rattles, heater barely puts out hot air... I can't imagine living with a Protege where it really gets cold. I'd consider a new HU... but I'm eyeing a Mazda6 (drove a V6 the other day... wow!).
