Newbie Alert...

I'm Alejo....the new guy here...
I come from a land down under...oh wait..that's a song..
anyways...I've been a member of msprotege for 2 yrs now and it has lost its magic...
is not what it used to be and many have been banned...the government i tell you!
but, i've found this community and i want to make it my home now.
i have a website too, it's www.mazdaspeed03.com it is mostly mazdaspeed protege-emanage oriented but it also has useful how-to's.
anyways, I hope i'll be welcomed here...i'm crazy and i like to pick people's brains. For the people that know me at msprotege, they know that i like to help alot too.
Nice to meet you guys, and lets get to work...

Welcome to the club, Alejo! Yeah, that place lost it's magic for me too...right about the time I got burned for 300 bucks by ProtegeGurly and the mods told me to STFU about it.
Anyway, nice to meet ya.
fake edit: I just checked out your site. Looks pretty cool. Do you have a turbocharged Miata?

Let me be the first to say welcome. I have been a member over here longer, and I can say in comparison this place is much nicer overall.
If this keeps up it won't be long before we surpass them for members. Won't that chap Antoine's ***!! Oh wait, will that get me banned from there?!

Seriously, I take full responsibility for this site not being 'more'. Traffic has picked up lately because I decided I have to become more involved here, instead of delegating all my time to rx7club.com and rx8club.com. I'm not the one who screwed it up in the first place, that was Jason ... but I haven't done enough to help it recover. I'm doing that now and will keep doing so, I actually like this place even though I'm a RX-7 guy.

as soon as i get home i'll make sure to put a banner on the links section of the website. i'm trying to make it more protege friendly by posting my own how-to's since its hard to get ahold of the owners of previous how-to's to get permission from them
i tend to use some anyways but always keep it clear that it isn't my how-to and post a link to where the original how-to was taken from.
maybe with permission of some of you guys we can get something similar going on here.
i want to make the emanage website just a sub-category of a protege website.
my website is very slow since i'm hosting it from my house.
I'm in the process of becoming MCSE certified so i got ahold of a used DELL server in which the website is running, i thought it would be a good practice platform.
so far, in the 2 months that the site has been running i've gotten over 400 hits...not bad for such an underground site. eventually, if traffic gets really high, i'll move the site over toa hosting place and maybe run some banners. as of now, it is banner less and no, it'll never have pop-ups, i hate that ****.
i will never host a FORUM because well, there are already many forums. Perhaps one day i'll sponsor a sub-forum here....perhaps...
