Personally....I don't care for the lights....all the extra ones that is....are you concerned with the performance of the car at all? if so....go for an Intake and a decent cat-back exhaust system.

Tint your windows as dark as the law allows.

what color is your new car?

beware of those tail lights....they will certainly start fogging up on you....that is unless you seal them with RTV BEFORE you install them....

Personally I like the stock lights better.....

just my .02

Black car with black tint, you can't go wrong there.

That would look sweet.

taillights,fogs and washer lights=

body kit will make you different from other protegé's,BUT without any engine mod you'll lok like those ****'s in their POS civics.
Sorry about that.
My opinion is:do what you want, but do it for YOURSELF

Go for the performance, then for the style, that will KICK ***!!!!

P.S: dont put a double deck plastic spoiler on your car either

1 - springs
2 - wheels
3 - tints
4 - stereo
5 - (if you must) neons inside or under

You could also put on the proper side markers like the MP3 and remove the amber markers on the front bumper.

I would do this if I was you

1. Tint the windows
2. Tint the tail lights
3. Lower the car about an inch (springs)
4. Get nice 17" rims with some wider tires
5. Get an intake
6. Make a different grille and mount it

there ya go...... just to let you know, just when I got my car, I was finished watching the Fast and the Furious, and wanted to get all those little neon lights, decals, etc. I did spend a bit on that stuff, but it's all wasted money now as it's sitting in my garbage can now. So I guess my biggest advice is to take your money, and sit on it for a month and a half, and then see what you like and what you don't.

JUST SAY NO

Dear ProtegePimp,

The best advice I can give you is "Just Say No To Rice". Please don't confuse this with "Just Do It". Rice includes any of the following:

Washer lights
Uni-wipers
Altezza lights
Stickers that consume your entire windshield
Plastic Front mounted Intercoolers
fake disc brakes to cover drums
Any sort of body kit or spoiler that incorporates the word Ninja, Shogun, Black Widow, Shareiuken, Hiii-YA, etc..

this isn't a comprehensive list

Your money is better spent on performance parts like MP3 suspension parts, exhaust, filters, or the Mazdaspeed Turbo Kit when it comes out. Good luck

Sir Nude, that should be a Ditto to the second power, but whatever....

Actually even before getting any performance parts, you should still sit on your money for a while, and see a bunch of different cars and talk to the owners. If you lower your car, and you gots tons of potholes where you live, it might get annoying to have to avoid every one..... if you get an exhaust, the loudness might get annoying as well....

point being, leave the money in the bank for a month or two, and then decide....

You know what option turns the most heads in a car......

A hot woman in the passenger seat. One of those in the car and I don't even notice 19" chrome rims, a loud hornet muffler, HID's, nothing. So invest in one of those first, and in tint to hide the backseat action

Ricer ligthts are neat, but they don't last long in the Canadian
Winter. Ive used two sets already.

I wouldn't do the whole rice thing, but the led washer lights are cool, If I put an underbody neon kit then I would be a ricer.

Wheels shoild be your first upgrade, if you have the money,
stick with the lights if you want to mod for less money

Have a look at the cars around you that have washer lights.
1-they are bone stock most of the time
2-they are probably very old
3-and ugly
4-thats totally ricer.

I'd put a good muffler and air filter, tires are very important too.Even with your stock wheels.

Of course, you should be the one to decide what you are going to put your money on,and dont forget, styles change, but performance doesnt!!!
