New to the P5

Hey whats up. I just bought my first car back in April and its a 2002 protege 5. So far the car has been awesome. No problems or anything. The only Mods ive done to it so far are a new sound system, front grille and some neons. Im stumped on what I should do to the engine. I was thinking Mazdaspeed exhaust , OBX headers and an intake. The only thing I dont like about my p5 is that it is an automatic but I cant complain I got the car for $3200

welcome, nice condition for 3200, I have an auto also so it really limits the mods. I am installing my CAI today...I have had it for 4 years and all I did was the sound system . there are some really good threads in the DIY and How to sections for customizing appearance wise for us. Most of what I have read performance wise for auto's is those that you listed, but there are lots of suspension suggestions aswell.

I dont see a trunk in your car

Welcome!
Good plan - the standard is Intake/Header/exhaust then moving on to under drive pulley, VTCS-less/polished intake manifold...

Then the suspension mods... Lowerrrrd.
