I just bought a 2003.5 protege5. I love it. Great car for the price. Any tips on simple upgrades to get a little more power? Thanks, Nick

K&N air filter, I guess its the cheapest and most practical, its cleanable and more free flowing than stock.

How much money do you have to spend on the power upgrades?

Look into getting an Injen cold air intake. It will add a little kick.

Kiss your warranty good-bye if your dealer has a problem with it. I had a dealer measure my tread on my front tires and tell me that spinning the tires was considered abuse and abuse was not covered under warranty. They will look for any reason to not do work under warranty! Be careful. PM me with any questions.
