New Guy - whats up.

Hey all...just thought I'd join a Protege forum for some added info. I'm a huge mazda fan and an even bigger Rx7 fan....but my rx7 has had too much work done to it to keep it on the streets legally...so I purchased a new '03 ES protege. Its nice, but slow, lol...It is only a daily driver, but I would like to do some simple stuff to it to aid in gas mileage and appearance...i like to stay dif. Any good ideas on intakes? Well....peace..oh and I saw another rx7 owner on here...it appears the proteges will become the rx7 owners new best friend..everybody needs a race car and a daily driver!

It could be, lol....thats what I was implying, lol...it would make good sense though...proteges are reliable and fun, but not too much to the effect of making us not want the sevens, lol. Are you a member of nopistons.com - if not...come join us, I moderate there and its a great enviroment!

Thats what I did too, but I have 8 pistons.

I needed a daily driver because:

1) Better Gas Mileage

2) Lower Insurance ( I actually pay less for 2 cars with limited milage on the Mustang.)

3) Somthing to drive in incliment weather. (Drag radials and RWD)

4) Something to keep me out of trouble.

5) Something Reliable that I can put a bunch of miles on. (already got 22K on the Protege.)

Man I want an RX-7 so badly

the fd3s is my dream car

if i ever do get one I'd be looking for a 3 rotor conversion etc. etc.

for now I'm looking for a S5 FC TII

I love the 2nd and 3rd gens so much

my trend is to go from a protege to RX-7 owner...well the protege is my parents car hehe

I drive it alot tho...well basically the most

EDIT: well i cant really say its a trend...hehe

Rotary Man, hello and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. (stash)

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!! (stash)
