Thumbs up new guy

was up, i just got my P5 last week and i love it. i used to drive a 93 eclipse GSX so there's definatly a power difference but i like the P% in everyother catagory. i got a sliver one with every goodie except the 6-disc cause i'll be swapping that out. i don't know if there's a 02 1/2 or if i got a 03 but they just got this style in like a week before i bought it and the new style doesn't come with polished rims but i figured its no biggie as i will be swapping those out also.

welcome to the board! search around, you'll find all sorts of stuff about your car. where are you located at? check out the regional sections to see who's in your area.

thanx for not asking if i have a disease and knowing the laitn meaning. by the way since i do want to learn and the whole n/a route is completly new to me. are there any free mods i can do? such as removing any silencers and has anyone gone the route of making a CAI instead of payin to much for a store bought one. i am goin to make one myself i was just wondering if there are tips to be known before i handle this task by myself. also, it seems that there is some sort of ghetto ram air devise that goes from the grill over the radiator to the intake. i figure the air isn't to cool since its goin over the radiator but i wann try and fix that. all help will be appreciated

I have made my own CAI with a scoop underneath the car. It works great. I made it from parts I got a the junkyard, it cost me $4.00

Dude, I happen to have a dear friend that is SERIOUSLY into wolves....she would SMACK me if I EVER made that mistake! lol

do a search on CAI and you will find more information than you could dream of....sure a lot of the threads are going to be discussions about one vs the other....but there are some out there about building your own as well.....quite a few people have done it.
