i bought a 2003 mazdaspeed protege yesterday. so far i do like it alot.

i had a 1981 malibu b4 this that i just got tired of... i do miss my old car though.

sticker price was about 14,500. got gap insurance, and the best warranty they had... on top of the existing warranty. im covered until 91,000 miles. its got 31,000 miles now.

i wanna get a nice BOV for it... wheres a good place to look?

nice car....i say you buy some aftermarket rims and sell me the stock ones for super cheap. they dont really go for a whole lot with tires....so yeah i think you should do that....lol. anyway welcome to the board...lots of good people on here, i think you'll like it.

I think that might indicate you having intentions of modding, but if you wanna keep the warranty I wouldn't touch anything ! It always depends on the dealership you go to, but most will tell you to go home if you have anything that's not stock under the hood, including simple things like having a cone air filter instead of the stock air box for example. Just be careful what you do to the car and the warranty should save you some money down the road...
