New to forum.....

Hello everyone.....

I have just recently purchased a 2001 MP3. The original owner of the car took out the Kenwood deck, subwoofer and any wires used. Is this all that I am missing? Also there is no brochure for this edition. Isn't it supposed to have one? One more question... How do I find out what # my car is? Any answers to the above question would be greatly appreciated. I will start modding the car very soon to accent what is already there....

post some pics....I love MP3's....Only thing I would worry about on an MP3 is getting more power and maybe better brakes...Aesthetically and Suspension are already AWESOME...

yeah, get some pics and we'll tell you whats missing! Sounds like he gutted it before selling it to keep some of the good stuff.

p.s. dont screw with the suspension any...it's SO good stock you wont ever outdrive it.

p.p.s. MSP front brake upgrade might not be a bad idea but it's not reall important unless you're going to thrash this car often.

p.p.p.s. Obx header+ ebay CAI= you're welcome

Welcome to the forum. The production # is not on the car. You need to call Mazda USA and give them your VIN.
Is yours blue or yellow?

Thanks for the responses! I will post pictures as soon as I get a nice day here with the digi cam. My MP3 is blue in color....

Hey Rod..... I was thinking about getting the K&N Typhoon CAI only because it comes in blue.... worth the money or waste?

waste (in my opinion). The Ebay CAI's that everyone uses are identical to all the others. I suggest if you're picky buy a regular K&N cone filter and the Ebay intake and be done with it...all for less than $100.
