So I started on a 2nd batch of aluminum oil caps.

I did a slightly different approach on these ones. After milling them, I got them polished, then sent them for anodizing, so it would give them a slightly cleaner finish.



Here is the difference between brushed finish, and polished finish.



(Yes the blue is slightly different color, however they will be matched in the final run. Plus the MP3 one is slightly worn out from being thrown around).

Again, these 4 were just tests runs.

I'm getting the other 85 back from being polished any day now. I then will be taking them to get anodized, and they will soon be back to get engraved.

If you are interested in them, and perfer the brushed finish, please let me know, as I can still brush the top surface after, to give it the brushed look. Please also post up what color you may be interested in, so I have a better average of what colors to get anodized. Thoughts and comments also appreciated!

btw, this is not a for sale thread. i'm just trying to get input before I send them away. I will post up details in the for sale section on how to get them, with whichever engraving you want, once I've got them back from anodizing
