need help with removing rear deck lid

need help with removing rear deck lid

hey everyone. i am trying to figure out how to remove the rear deck lid off of my 2000 Pro ES. i cant seem to figure out how to take off the child seat anchors to be able to remove it. if anyoen can help. please reply back thanks

hope this helps

If this is what you mean......
Start off by taking these three latch covers off:



Then Pull these latches up (There's one on each side) to lower the seats.....


Then using a flat head screwdriver remove the four tabs holding the deck in it's place......



and pull up on the lid and it should pop right off....just glide it down and you'll see on the left and right side there are little hooks you can unhook them and remove the seatbelts from the lid (Not sure about the middle one)

thanks the only diff is that the 2000 models had a diff child anchor. which only 2000 owners would know bout. which really sucks. cuz the 01+ owners all ahve the same. soo.
