Unhappy My Stock Cd Player Just Stopped Working

Music is the only thing that keeps me going on some days, and now there's no volume that's coming out of my stock unit. Please help, here's what happened.......

I was changing a cd, put in a mix cd, and it didn't recognize it. The little 'CD in' light wasn't on, and there was no volume, so I tried radio, still no sound, turned the car off/on, as well as the stereo, and nothing's working, what's going on? Sorry, I don't know much about cars/audio devices..........

Check the fuse.......
same sh*t happened to me a while ago and it ended up that the wiring for the CD had melted from the heat and there was a short circuit............

If the fuse is Ok then I don't know......

I was talking to the service manager where iI bought my 2001 Lx and He said that there have been problems with the factory head units. As you have a 01 as well why not take the car iback to the dealer and hve them fix it . This is a warrenty item .
