My MP5

I had a tricked out VW GTI 90' and sold it to get my MP5
I am 34 and have 2 boys 2 & 6 I got my MP5 in July 2001 and love it. I just got Fast and Ferious on DVD good movie. I just ordered the bumper protector for on top of the rear and a rearview mirror that has guages on it, but I am looking to trick it out a little and the AEM seems to be the way to go I have seen some MP5s in pics with little MP5 logos on the door where can I get these and also the zoom zoom stickers???

welcome dude!!! ill warn you right off hand that there are a few people on this board who are...how should I say it....well....less than polite. but just ignore them and have fun. im new too. i just got my silver 02' Pro5 at the first of the month and i too love it!! my previous car was a 99' Civic Si that was in an accident.
after my car was fixed instead of being totalled, I decided to get another car. i was actually looking for your car that you sold for the Pro5!!!!HAHAHAHA!!! funny huh? anyways, the GTi that you had was a perfect model IMHO. but you made a damn good choice int he Pro5!! Congrats!!!!!
as for the AEM. if you really want to spend your money (all of it) then get the AEM. or make your own intake for allot less (again do a search and it should turn up something). i will be done in a few weeks on the final design(s) of the intake I am manufacturing. no clue yet as to price (but it will be less than both the AEM & Injen systems). but all brackets will be 1/8" in thickness ( i am hoping to need only 1 bracket that fits in a different location than the other intakes out there.) and utilise a K&N conical filter. again welcome!!

Welcome aboard Soundguy. Congrats on the new P5. If you are looking for performance, go with the FS-ZE intake cam instead of the intake, AEM or otherwise. I say this as someone who just replaced a Monsterflow intake with the 2.0L AEM short ram intake myself. The Intake looks nice, and does clean up the engine compartment some be removing all the stock plumbing, but it won't made a noticable difference in power. The FS-ZE intake is slightly cheaper, and should add about 8 to 10 HP in the higher RPM range. Available from Mazda Motorsports or Corksport. http://www.mazdamotorsports.com http://www.corksport.com/
