motor/tranny swap

Can anyone tell me where I can get Information about doing a motor/trany swap from a 2003 MazdaSpeed to a 1999/2000 Protege!? I am looking at buying a totaled MSP (only side body damage, no damage to font clip). If people have done this swap I would like to hear your comments about it. I need to know all that I can!

I suggest buying the MSP front clip and having a professional mechanic perform this swap. It's not difficult but it sounds like it may be a little beyond your grasp.

I don't plan on doing the swap myself, I was just wanting to know if someone had done this before and can let me know what kind of problems that may arrise so I won't be suprised. I'm just tryin to cover all the bases before I do anything. I can't just buy the front clip of the MSP, I have to buy the whole car(only way its being sold) but for 4g, its still a good deal.

If you just want forced induction you could get a decent turbo setup for that much, tune it PROPERLY make more power and still be reliable.
If you've got another $1000 or so after that then I would suggest you upgrade your rods.
