Anyone here using the stuff, I am going to be doing a group buy for the car club up here in Toronto. But i am curious if anyone knows the price of the Mobil 1 Extended performance 10w30 big jug or 1q's. I am going to drive down fill up my trunk and drive back..

just need to know the price so i know what to charge for the group buy.

The extended performance is about $5.75 or so a qt. I used the stuff for a while but i changed to Amsoil 0W-30 and the stuff is awsome.I dosnt turn black like normal oils (at least not for a long time).Anyway you can look at comparisons at Amsoil.com.I get it wholesale since im a dealer.

 

0W-30?? Isin't that almost like water??

 

wait I thought oil turning darker was a good sign, of the oil trapping soot and other ****,

most mobil1 is only available in qts. I'll check for ya.

 

na, it flows like any other 30 wieght when the car is warmed up but since its 0w(winter) it flowes faster when you start the engine for faster lub and no dry starts.
And it turns darker but not black.the black is not only from the dirt in your engine but from the oil oxidizing and the amsoil resist the oxidation.
