'merican vs CDN Headlights

So I see a few new P5 picks, I know that they are the new models as the five-star wheels are slightls different, and it has the signal on the fender. So why do the new Canadian P5 have black headlights, and the US models are still all silver?

Just wondering.

Couldn't tell you why they are different but I like the silver look better, it's just a cleaner look. I think Mazda screwed up by putting the parking lens orange and signal lens clear. They should have went both clear or both orange for that matter. It makes it look like the owner installed signal lights and didn't know what they were doing. Just my two cents.

Is it my imagination, or do the 03 lights seem brighter that the 02?

I wanted to chirp in regarding the orange bumper light versus the clear fender light....

You can always replace the clear fender light "easily and cheaply" with the orange ones off of a Mazda Tribute SUV. Yeah, same design, etc. , just Orange.

Kyredp5 I have clear corners its the parking lights on the lower fender that are orange. Brian that ain't a bad idea, I have a '02 so I don't have that problem I just noticed it on the '03 and thought it looked brutal. But some of the '03 owner might find that idea great.
