Ok. I got a minute and contacted Trussville Mazda. They have the stuff and the prices are comparable to the ones on http://www.mazdastuff.com, also there is no sales tax. All the stuff I asked them about was just a little bit over their cost. You can reach them at (800) 240-2121. Give them some business and encourage them. I know I will.

 

i dont know about anyof yalls but ive bought stuff from other states in the past and i was never charged the state tax before. if you are that worried about the sales tax thing why dont you just look up mazda parts in the state of oregon they dont have any sales tax for some reason.

 

My take on it from the beginning was that the dealerships were treated as their own private entities for tax purposes. But a lot of states have screwed up franchise laws too (often targeted at the automotive sector). Trussville, at least, was willing to ship anywhere outside of Ohio without any sales tax.
