Lack Of Inventory In Northeast!!

I cannot find the P5 I want ANYPLACE. My local dealers cannot locate a vehicle with these specs:

Silver OR black OR red
Manual Transmission
Moonroof/6 CD in-dash
ABS/side airbags
Roofrack

They say from here to Canada it's a no go. Is this a bad sign? I know the Mazda3 is coming out next year, have they STOPPED making P5's already??

HELP!!!

Chris

Call this dealer, they had at least 20 or so and probably 2-3 with what you want.

Tom Roush Mazda

317-876-5561

It's in Westfield, Indiana, close to Indianapolis.

Dealers up here in MA have many PR5's. Is the ABS and side airbags making it a problem? I think that is an option that most people don't care about.......

Don't know if you're looking for a brand new one but I am selling an 02 silver with black cloth, sunroof, roof rack, single cd player, polished wheels for $12,000. It has 16k miles.

yup, it seems the ABS and side airbags are the problem. Also, I am told $17,100 is the price of the car:

Silver/cloth
5 speed
ABS/side Airbags
6 CD in dash/moonroof

In addition they say $350 to install a roof rack, then an additonal $200 as their profit. Am i getting hosed?

price and aval...

Well, if you do it soon, there should still be the $2000 rebate in effect (extra 500 if you've recently graduated form college) Aside from that, if that's before the rebate, I think that price sounds not too horrible for having the extra options. sticker should be pushing 19 right? 17,1 sounds like invoice pricing, in which case the $200 is pretty much about as good as you can get. it would take it to somewhere around 15 after rebates. yes?

As for northwest. I know around here it was pretty damn tricky for me to tack down the laserblue 5speed sunroof that I wanted. infact ther was only one left a month ago. However with your flexibility on color there's gotta be something. Call around, mazda's website helps you alot, use their vehicle inventory search. I was every bit as informed as the dealer. infact I told them where they could get mine from.

Its actually cheaper for me to go with the 0% financing. The rebate was an option ($2250) but the numbers were lower with the 0%.

Oh and its a 5 speed. I kept them there until past 9pm, since they close at 8 I think they wanted to get out of there.

I'm in the same boat. I'm looking for a Laser Blue 5 speed with nothing added or minimal at most. Also I don't want any graphics, pinstripes or a front license plate bracket installed. And no roof rack. The dealer I am dealing with can only find 2 and they both have the front plate bracket. And they only trade with 2 other dealerships. Doing a search on the Mazda I only found 5 within a 150 mile radius of me that are in the price/options bracket I am looking for. I guess if all else fails I could get the red one in stock at the dealer I am going to. Naaaa. I want Laser Blue and I'm not gonna settle for anything else.
