Just wanted to say HI

Hey everybody. I am very close to buying a 2003 P5. I have been looking on your site for the last few days and am very impressed. I currently own a 2002 Ford Escape XLT Sport which I LOVE but is getting far too expensive for me. (with college rent, and all) Can you give me any insite? I am lookign at a 2003 Black P5, 5spd, sunroof, and abs package. It is going to cost me around $14,000 new. obvesouly you all like your cars or you wouldnt be here, but gimme some highlights about your ride. I test drove the 5 and loved it.

That's a really good deal..

WHY DID I BUY MY CAR NEW IN 2002?



My only option is auto and I paid 20k with $4 down and a trade in!!

Hi Wes and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

The cars are great...I baught TWO....one for me...one for my wife. I have driven the car cross country and back and had a great time. its not a RACER by any means...but its a very attractive car....and can out handle nearly anything else on the road. She will keep you out of trouble if you treat her right.

the deal you described sounds like a good one to me....go for it.

I own the Sedan but it's basically the same car minus the hatchback. I love my car. As far as styling is concerned the Protege/P5 can't be beat. I really wanted to P5 but it was too expensive. The cargo room in the P5 is insane, doesn't look like it's that much from the outside. The manual is super crisp and easy to drive. Since it's a 2003 I'll assume it's one of the sprt shift transmissons which is cool. I dunno what else to say........Hooray for the Protege!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Wes...Yes, buy it. You won't regret it. In fact, the only "buyers remorse" I've ever felt was not going for the p5 instead of the sedan, but even that I don't really regret.

Oh, and since you're a local, in case you haven't noticed, we have our own little spot on here:

thats a good deal... we thought the p5 with abs package and no sunroof for arounjd 14 was good. It cost originally around 17k without the abs package i believe

I say go for it. its not much slower if any than the escape but it should be way more fun to drive. Chicks love the looks, even when its stock!

i just bought a 2003 p5 about 2 weeks ago and SHE IS AWSOME! The sport shift is really fun, and the lazer blue is damn sexy! i bought it with the abs package, auto with sport shift option, and chrome tip tailpipe for about $23k canadian...dat's about $15k US, so $14k is a pretty good deal for u....

btw im new here too! sup everyone!
