Found a lot of good info here when doing research on my most recent purchase, a 1999 Protege LX Touring 1.8 (Canadian Edition). Picked the car up last week, so far so good - it has 90,000 km but runs great.

I'm pretty sure I'll check in here often with many questions, since I'm not too mechanically inclined
