That looks like it was hit by a SUV or a PU. The damage is too much for a shopping cart, specially the dent in the lift gate. OUCH!!!

Unhappy Insurance is gonna hook me up (kinda)

I talked to the insurance company for the grocery store and they said they would pay whatever is lower my collision deductible($500) or the estimate. My estimate came to about $800.00 and they used an MP3 for the parts and labor (it was the closest their database came). I put my taillight on so that knocks off 150-200 the guy who did the estimate said their was a "scuff" on my bumper but i dont see jack on my bumper. Ill just tell the body shop not to worry bout the bumper so that will knock off from 200-300. So i should be alright

And it was a cart that hit it; if you look closely enuff in pic u can see the carts reflection. And as far as parking far away that is just a rule of thumb i always follow especially with a new car. But this happened in front of my house. And the reason it looks so bad is i think someone had a running start with that cart . Needless to say my baby is spending a lot more time in the garage and alarm is at the top of my list for christmas Oh and thanks for the concern

I don't see the picture. My general rule of thumb; park away from the front door; park on high ground (carts cannot roll up hill); park near newer cars. This should drastically reduce dings and scatches. But then again, maybe life isn't sweet after all.
