Japan trip coming up... any JDM parts I should get?

Hey, folks -

It looks as though I will be headed to Japan for business once again, this time in early February for a little more than a week. I will be in the Nagoya area for most of the trip (where pretty much everyone drives a Toyota, since Aichi Prefecture is Toyota's home). However, there are Mazda dealers, and plenty of parts stores that sell stuff for the Familia.

I was thinking that I should try to bring back a few JDM parts for my car, anything that can fit into a suitcase. This means I will not be transporting the intake plenum from the Sport20 back in my bag.

A lot of the JDM parts I have seen for this car are unspectacular. Things like tissue holders on the side of the center console, Familia badges that can be bought here, etc. There are a few things in the Japanese Mazdaspeed catalog that look sweet, such as a unique grille. If anybody has some more cool ideas, please share them.

Ooooh, jealous here.
How about bringing back a turbo-charged AWD Familia, any year.
Or if you can't find one of those, a Silvia would be okay, too, I guess.
Serously, the grille sounds pretty cool, and something you can't get over here. But the grille doesn't fit the P5, does it?
You could probably pick up a dozen Familia badges and sell them on the forums pretty quick!

Dude, your wife would kill you. My fiance would kill me... she is already jealous of the P5 as it is. Lets not make it worse by factoring other ladies into the equation!

Keep your eyes open for any toy/model cars of the P5 Familia wagon. I had my friend look for some the last time he was in Japan, but he had no success. Someday...someday I shall have a toy that matches my car!!

Where can I find that JDM Mazdaspeed catalog just in case I do "order" something? And it'll also be good drooling material.

I hope he was joking about the Silvia.....

Hey, don't get me wrong, I love my Mazda, and will probably always have one.
But, I wouldn't mind have a Silvia in my garage, too!

no I was reffering to "What's a silvia?" I would gladly trade my mazda for a Silvia. I love my car and all, but... well you know!

Talking silvia?

I wasn't joking. I've never heard of that before. That car kind of looks like a mitsubishi 3000. Who's it made by? I'm mostly into american cars besides my mazda is my daily driver. I have a '67 chevy suburban I'm restoring/customizing on now....

Think of this: A big breasted silvia in a silvia!!!!!!!!!!!
