that sparco has a plastic core though (if I recall correctly) so it it's just the sun that makes it hot. my greddy is a black chrome plated solid ball of copper, attached to an aluminum shifter that goes within half an inch of my primary catalytic converter with no heat shield between them (no space for one).
let's just say autocrossing is made interesting by the hot **** :P

just wondering cause my **** has the silver 5 speed shift pattern in the middle and is super hot to the touch when the sun beats on it. I can take the cold that wouldn't be a problem. That is part of the reason why I want to swap it out.

I think we are comming home on the 22, or 23. We are leaving tomorrow, the 19, or maybe sometime tonight the 18. But I think we are shooting for tomorrow.
