Injen Intakes Carb Exempt?

Yesterday I was stopped by the Highway Patrol for speeding , well its nothing to be proud of but hey you got to speed sometimes, plus it 12 a.m. with no one on the road, anyways he told me my injen intake was not Carb Exempt. Does anyone know if this is true or false, and how come Injen doesnt supply a carb exempt sticker?

The Injen CAIs for the 2.0L, 1.8L, and 1.6L are currently being tested by CARB. They should have results in a month or so, from what they told me when they installed mine. Give them a call or e-mail them. When CARB certification comes in, they should send you a CARB Certification sticker.

Did he issue you a fix-it ticket for it?

No, I have to go to the state referee and have them look under my hood. Yeah out here in Southern Cali, the Highway Patrol look sat everything, they even measure your car to see how low it is. Those fools are jacked up, today I went to Import Revolution and I see a Highway Patrol ride hooked up.

CHP are such idiots... if they used the time to check if your car was tricked out on giving MFs who drive like idiots then maybe everyone can benefit
