hey tresdos, i emailed uniflow last night for s&g's, and just to get a bit more information on the rampod for the 1.6l. this was my response...
--- Mike, thanks for contacting us. We have developed a kit for the 1.6 litre. We have found a mwthod which will further improve what we have done so please give us a few weeks prior to ordering. Cost is AUD$295 (approx US$165) post free via air mail. Please mail me the third week of March and I will send you an email of the kit. Haydn Gooch --- that kicks some serious ass. |

Former 1.6'er!
Hey folks!
I haven't a 1.6 Pro, but I kind of have a soft spot for 'ol engines of that size-- My old Nissan Sentra was a 1.6'er (GA16DE), and I always thought it was okay for getting around, although admittedly quite modestly so. 110 HP and 108 ft. lb torque. Always loved getting out there on the road and taking trips-- For 10 years that 1.6'er got me where I wanted to go, and continues to drive for the new owner after I sold her. 120k miles and still going strong (and believe it or not, I never changed the timing chain, and the clutch is still original!). Take care of those little bangers and they won't let you down! :bt: |
Hey, i have a 1991 toyota corolla which is a 1.6L engine.
does this count??? oh and a 2000 acura 1.6EL too. |
Well, I will be getting my new 1.6l hatchback :) in the next few days, does that count?
