i'm just wondering how many regulars to this board drive 1.6ers..
so if you've got the baby ge' put your hands up and tell us what mods u've done!!:cool: :cool:

I have the 1.6.

Mods: None.

(Yes, at times it is slow as hell!)

1.6L's of pure power. Did you say 'at times'? Must not be the same 1.6L I have, lol. Pictures and details of mods on my site.

Now I wouldn't say my 1.6L is slow, but she is a little underdeveloped right now. All stock for now but that shall change soon as I have some time to put the wrench time in.

biknman how is the Injen Intake working out for you? I was considering it, but I have heard many people complaining that it would not work right. I am currently working on building a ram air from where the fog lights sit. Well jut let me know thanks

i havent done anything to the exterior yet mostly the interior, alot of momo mods exept the sparco seats

Injen CAI has been working fine installed it in October and no problems as of yet.

ive got a 1.6L too....

(for some reason its a LOT faster than youres though...)

o.k. maybe i should've set some paramaters...i'm talking about 3rd gen 1.6ers..

cause there isn't as much aftermarket goodies.for these ...i just wanted to see who on this board has one..so we have a reference..4 ltr..and we can help each other out:)

btw..ive only done a cheap cat back exhaust..and it put out 75hp at the wheels on the dyno..exterior mods include chrome tints and a "protegetech" banner.

I'm posting pics of my Performance Control module install under another thread. Check it out. The only other mods I've done is exhaust and audio. Let's keep working so we can beat those 2.0's

i got a 1.6l i got the injen cai on it 16's an alpine radio, orion amp,some cheap ass 12's in a bandpass box,painted calipers,wire loom in the engine bay for show, getting the xm radio soon.:blue:

look out guys cause this is a link to a thread posted in an aussie forum..read it carefully SPECIALLY ALL YOU 1.6ERS!!...cause it looks like things are starting to heat up on the aftermarket scene for our little pros!!:)

p.s its great to see the 1.6ers out in force!!..imagine that n/a 91kw atw..with a lighter package than the 2l..heheh!:)
