Unhappy I got some bad news about my MSP ... :(

hey guys whats up... today was autocross number 2 for me in my protege... After my first run my timing belt went ... AHHH how shitty can this be??!?!? my car on had 39K miles.. so yes i am glad its under warranty... and i just put new tires on thrusday nite.... so **** i didnt even get to suff em in.. after my frist run, it was making this weird noise.. i was thinking that it was my water pump/alternator?!? but when i went to start it again... it wouldnt start... it made a jerky movement.... and the guys at the race said it is possibly my timing belt...

anyone else have problems like this? hmm, trip number to the dealer in the last 2 weeks...

hmm....odd to lose a timing belt at 39K miles. A more probable problem muight be engine damage. A lot of people doing auto-x end up sloshing their oil and running the engine dry causing bent rods, spun bearings, etc...all which make noise and cause the car to run poorly or not at all..good luck to ya.

Auto X? He wasn't Auto-x'ing. He just drives that car to and from church on Sundays...
Let us know how it works out with the dealer.
