How to Shift with AutoSport

I have the autosport tranny and I have never tried it out until this past weekend. I don't know if I am doing it right, or if I'm hurting my engine/tranny. I move the shifter over and I hit the gas then when it gets a little b4 redline, i let off the gas and shift into 2nd at the same time i hit the gas again. It seems fun, I'm just unsure if its the correct way to do it. Please help! I'm really a newbie as far as this goes.

I've found that 4500-5200 is the best range for higher RPM shifting. Keep in mind that solenoids power the switch and they can be picky (jumpy). I've found that if you completely release the acclerator when shifting and then gas it you'll get a bit more buck than say an ease in... ease out method.

Try easing in and easing out, also try constant pressure while shifting. See what method works best for you.
