Wow, my dealer was actually correct? That's unbelieveable!

But why didn't I have to do this with my previous civic? a weaker fuel pump in the P5?

TO CHUCK:

Chuck, saw this in your signature:
Stereo upgrade (JBL 5x7,JBL 6.5, JBL 6x9 speakers and KENWOOD amp)
and

-Dealer accessory: ..... rubber bumper step-plate
Where did you mount 6x9s in the P5? In the hatch cover? I'm interested....

Also, any idea if the bumper plate is available in the US? How much did you pay for it in Canada?
