I was just wondering how much do Mazda dealer's charge for the 24,000km service and what is done? Is it important? Can anyone quote me some prices, $CAN preferably. Thanks.

 

Somewhere around a 100 CAD, including oil change. The service in Saskatoon sucks melons.

 

Oh yah, and they don't do squat either.......why do I beat up on myself......

 

Check the manual, but when I looked at it, it was mostly "inspect this, inspect that." Nothing really except lubricate hinges and do an oil change.

Great link! Although they specifically point out Mazda, I'm willing to bet money that this happens at other car dealerships.

 

Just so you know (and might be able to do something) when i took my car in for the 15K, I had already done the oil change, and I was getting new tires (no rotation). All that was left was the 21point inspection, which they did for free at that point.
